The beauty brand that does it all!
The most authentic way for me to recommend beauty products is to use them myself first. Trust me, I’m very selective, and I only accept products from brands I want to try after I’ve read all about them extensively. I also rely on strong reviews from reliable sources, as well as recommendations from trusted colleagues. Dr. Brandt Integrative Dermatology is a beauty brand I’ve been hearing about for a very long time, so I was excited to switch up my routine. Well, I can confirm that after only using these products for a week, I see a BIG difference in my skin — this is definitely the beauty brand that does it all!
Dr. Brandt is a dermatological cosmetics brand with an anti-aging, integrative focus. All Dr. Brandt products are non-comedogenic, dermatologist and clinically tested, sulfate-free, paraben-free, cruelty-free, and synthetic fragrance-free. In other words, they don’t have any bad stuff in them 😉 They follow a very high standard of clean formulas, and a team of interdisciplinary experts (psychodermatologists, clinical estheticians, nutritionists, geneticists and plastic surgeons) helps develop every product they make — and this is relatively unique in the beauty industry.
The four products I used addressed issues that are my own but that we ALL experience: dark circles and puffiness under the eyes, rough skin (particularly around the chin area), the appearance of larger pores, and of course, the desire for a lightweight cream that minimizes expression lines and wrinkles. No More Baggage Eye Cream
Ok, I will confess: dark circles and puffiness under my eyes have ALWAYS been my biggest beauty woe. I have tried hundreds — I’m not kidding — hundreds of eye creams throughout my career and have not found one that solves my problems … until now. Dr. Brandt’s No More Baggage Eye Cream is a gel that glides on easily, reduces puffiness, and brightens the under-eye area pretty quickly — it’s unbelievable! This beauty brand works hard to deliver around the eye.
Renewing Age-Defying Face Exfoliator
This is a step some of us might not make time for … but it is SO important! When you exfoliate regularly, you remove leftover makeup and dead skin cells from the surface of the face, which allows skincare products to enter the skin more easily and efficiently. This face exfoliator really is “renewing and age-defying.” Why? Because the anti-aging micro-granules actually slough off dull skin to reveal a more radiant complexion, and your skin feels SO SOFT after you wash it off. This one won Allure’s Best of Beauty Award for Best Facial Scrub. This is not surprising … it’s amazing.
Wrinkle Smoothing Cream
I can see why it’s called Needles No More! This cream has a wrinkle smoothing complex that includes lactic acid and glycolic acid/AHA, two crucial anti-aging ingredients. It’s meant to be applied to expression lines, and in a week you’ll notice a huge difference in their appearance. Dr. Brandt created this product to noticeably smooth the areas where you would normally get Botox. I’m usually wary of this claim — but this cream works to plump and fill in where skin has formed lines. It works especially well on fine lines and wrinkles, and it’s effective on all skin types.
Pore Refiner Primer
I’ve used the Pore Refiner Primer every day for the past several days, and I love it. I use a primer anytime I’m going to apply makeup — I feel that’s it’s an integral part of my routine. And, it arrived at the perfect time since I had just run out! Love it when that happens 😉 This primer goes on smoothly under your favorite foundation, and it goes on smoothly😉, making it the perfect base for all your makeup. It has a slight tint (so helpful), and definitely minimizes the appearance of pores without clogging them. If you have larger pores and/or are oily in the T-zone, this one really works!
