New arrivals I found for you this week!

One of the thrills of working in fashion is anticipating new arrivals at the start of the each season. It’s something I’ve looked forward to my entire career! These days you can find me scouring all my favorite websites every single day to find amazing things to share with you. Yes, new items do roll in regularly, but there are actually peak times … like right now.

Winter new arrivals

For the next 4-6 weeks (my estimate), we will be at the height of winter new arrivals. And, if you make your purchases at the beginning of a season, it allows for a longer wearing time. While I do often talk about adding the “right” pieces (which is necessary for making your outfits come together), every now and then it’s okay to grab something you love — just for fun!

Today’s post is about what I found for you: new arrivals this week. I narrowed it down quite a bit because there were so many items, but they’re all great pieces. Keep in mind, I’m very particular as to what will make the list, and these are all things I’d love to purchase myself — if I could!

P.S. Thank you for all the kind messages and prayers about my sweet dad. He has a weak heart, and is hanging on to life. It’s so sad, and I know many of you have experienced the same with a parent or loved one. One thing I’ve discovered through this work is that helping all of you get dressed every day goes way beyond the clothes. I’m lucky to have a lovely community of incredible, caring women here on the blog, on instagram and of course, in real life!

I’ve been spending every day and most nights by my dad’s side and I must say, it’s truly an honor. When he’s sleeping or listening to the news, I’m doing this work, since it’s my happy place. And, if I miss a post or disappear for awhile, you’ll know why. Thank you again for all your support ❤️

Here's another designer-inspired shoe that looks way more expensive than it is! I purchased the cream color, and wore them with faded denim and a black blazer. You could do the same with the green. All the colors are great!

I believe every cool wardrobe should include a fun party bag, and right now there are so many great options. Cult Gaia is a favorite brand, and this feather wristlet works with everything!

Here is another new arrival from J.Crew. I love this pretty lace top in this trending blue color. Of course, you can't go wrong with black!

It's pajama season, and this is the time of year to pick up a pair for yourself ... or as a gift. I got a pair last year in this same soft fabric, and wore them all season long. So comfy!

Mother Weekender Fray jeans

If you're looking for a flare jean, this is a best-seller. I love this slightly faded black wash, and it's a really flattering cut. if you wear them with a heel, you'll add a little extra to your leg length!

Ulla Johnson dress

I love Ulla Johnson dresses, and this one is brand new today at Shopbop! Shorter dresses are much easier with tights and booties (I suggest the ones below). For extra warmth, try a classic black wool coat at least the length of the dress or longer. Talk about comfortable, and perfect for lots of different occasions

This is the perfect dressier bootie to wear with dresses, your favorite denim and even a nice pair of trousers. The heel height is perfect at 3", and they're super comfortable. I've worn mine often!

J.Crew has some of the best jewelry, and the prices are incredible considering these are made in Italy.

Halogen blouse - $89

If you're looking for a pretty holiday blouse to wear with black or coated denim, this is a good one! The sparkly buttons are pretty, and it looks way more expensive than its $89 price.

This slightly oversized cotton shirt is a best-seller. The color is brand new, and it can be worn with denim, faux leather and even trousers. Every time I wear my navy one, I get compliments. This is a favorite comfy shirt that can be worn many different ways!

Frame Le Sylvie Slender

Coated denim is the one jean to add this winter -- it makes all your outfits feel luxurious! I purchased this exact style last year, and wore it all the time. Luckily it's back this year, so grab it while it's still in stock. I found it to run a touch small, although I went with my usual size 27.
