This week’s hot items: Grab them before they’re gone!

Today during my daily grocery run, things felt a bit different. Lighter. Happier. The store felt festive and was full of pretty flowers, branches (my favorite), and lots of Valentine’s reminders. Think champagne, overpriced strawberries and yummy chocolates! While I’m happy to spend Valentine’s day at home, to me it means brighter days are around the corner — a welcome sign for all of us!

Today’s post is about hot items I’ve spotted recently and have to share with you! New clothes are rolling in every day, and the start of the new year means updated fashion trends for 2021. I hope you find a little inspo too!

The layering trick that’s on trend and super cool

J.Crew blazer coat | Hoodie | Mother denim | Prada heels |David Yurman chain bracelet | Sunglasses

Last month I wrote about the layering trick that’s on-trend and super cool, and many of you messaged me after trying it. It’s not going anywhere, so I thought I’d revisit it here and share some new hoodies I’ve found. The colors I’d recommend for maximum versatility would be black, camel, gray and white. Oh, and a friend told me about this pink one … it would be so cute under a denim jacket!

The best Sport bras

Left: Lululemon jacket | Top | Align legging | Slides | Right: Sport bra | Yoga mat I just purchased Wacoal Sport bras are truly some of the best — I’ve tried 3 recently. The award-winning Underwire Sport Bra is very supportive and trust me, nothing moves! The one I’m wearing above is really soft, comfortable and perfect for pretty much any situation. I highly recommend both of these.

This past year I’ve enjoyed a wonderful partnership with Wacoal. When they approached me, I immediately said yes for a few reasons. First, my very first Nordstrom bra purchase back in the 80’s was a Wacoal bra, and second, I already had several others in my lingerie drawer. I’ve learned so much about the company during our work together, and now I love them even more! Their designs are really superior, and their Instagram is packed with useful info. Plus, I could watch Miryha (their lead designer) talk all day long in her IGTV videos! No, it wasn’t easy being photographed in a bra, but I did it anyway 🙂

You can never have too many jackets!

Faux leather puffer, here or here | Madewell sweater | Black skinny jeans | OTK boots | Sunglasses

This sounds a little contrary to my usual message (which is to buy one item and wear it multiple ways), but jackets are one of those things that have a longer life and it’s worth it to have a few. They remain in style for years, and they can truly make every single outfit. So whether you’re in the mood for an updated puffer like this, this , or you want to try a light weight jacket like this one — go for it! You’ll never be sorry, I promise. Below are some new jackets I think you’ll like.

New shirt jackets

Shirt jackets aren’t going away any time soon, and every time I turn around I spot a new one! This one in the photo above is a favorite, and it comes in several colors. Also, this style works nicely as we transition seasons, so find one (or two) you love. I’m certain you’ll wear it all the time!
