The Nordstrom April Drop: 6 Warm Weather Staples to Invest In Now

Welcome to the April 2026 Nordstrom Drop! Every month, my Nordstrom Stylist friends and I carefully select six favorite, best-selling items that we think you’ll love … and should probably buy now 😉 These pieces are super stylish, versatile and well-priced. For April, we’ve selected a cool brown jelly clutch, a vacation dress, and versatile sandals that go with everything. We also picked our favorite Mother jeans, and a cotton blouse that’s worth the splurge. And, since we all need an updated cardigan, this is the one we chose — and it’s also available in other colors. Keep reading to see these six new fashion finds you’ll wear all season long, along with my honest reviews about each item.

But first … if you’re new around here, this is how the “monthly drops” came to be. My “Nordstrom 6” friends and I found each other during the early days of quarantine and instantly bonded. We are all current or former Nordstrom stylists who started sharing weekly content with you back in 2020. Our goal was to make shopping both fun and inspiring during that challenging time. Well, six years later, we’re still at it! We carefully plan our Nordstrom Monthly Drops and post them at the beginning of every month. Cheers 🥂

The April Nordstrom Drop: My Version

This month, I switched things up a little by changing some of the colors of the items we picked, and by adding some jewelry. It’s important to me to share the items I think will resonate with you the most! (To see the original board, click here.) You might notice that I am showing this Rails dress instead of this one. Both are super stylish, I just preferred the brown 🤎 I also chose a different cardigan color, but all the colors are pretty. The bag, shoes and jeans are the same. Lastly, I switched the blouse from this one to the one above.

To clarify, I love all the pieces, I just didn’t like how they looked together on the board. I’m kinda picky that way 😉 Keep reading below to see some outfit inspo!

Honest reviews

1 – Splendid cardigan & Knit tank – Though I like both of these pieces, I wouldn’t wear them together! The cardigan is perfect over a sundress, or with a simple tank and casual linen pants. The knit tank also looks great with a tank layered under, and you can wear it with flowy linen pants like these, or even denim shorts.

2 – Cotton blouses – This blue striped one above is a favorite, and it fits everyone and is really easy to wear. The Cinq a Sept one on the original board is also super cute, but the sleeves are a little tricky for some people.

3 – Rails printed dress – We love Rails dresses, and both the brown one above and this printed one are really good. Add a denim jacket over for extra warmth, or a cardigan. So chic!

The next three …

4 – Jelly clutch – I love this clutch, and the price is so reasonable! My first pick is the brown color — it looks rich.

5 – Sandals – Having a go-with-everything sandal is important for casual dresses and jeans, and this rattan one is versatile. The heel height is perfect, and it’s well-priced too.

6 – Mother jeans – The Mother Kick-it is the new jean that everyone is loving right now. It’s a classic straight leg style, and you can see the selection here. You’ll find both long length styles and an ankle style like this for spring. There’s even a petite option here and here.
