Spring Dress Edit: What’s Trending for 2026
It’s dress season! Lately, I’ve been getting daily messages asking what to wear to all kinds of celebrations. A super stylish dress is undoubtedly the most effortless piece to have in our wardrobes. And, every year around this time, the selection is at its all-time best. Right now, stores are packed with beautiful options for any occasion. Whether you’re attending a wedding, graduation, cocktail party, or just going on vacation, there is truly a dress for everyone!
Today’s post is a major spring dress edit. Since I have a handful of events coming up myself, I’ve been doing a lot of research to help narrow down the best choices for you. From the cape style silhouettes everyone is talking about to pretty lace details I’m seeing everywhere, these are the standout dress trends that will define your spring 2026 wardrobe.

Stylist tip: Having two or three (or more) dresses in your wardrobe that you can easily reach for will help you when getting ready for your events. You’ll always feel prepared, whether in advance or last minute. You want to be looking good and feeling great when heading out the door! See below for my recommendations.
Cinq a Sept Zenni dress: A soft white dress is a great closet staple, and it works for many events. This one is a nice weight, super flattering, and the little ruffle adds a little something extra. Recently, I was chatting with some stylist friends, and we talked about how versatile this dress is. In fact, pretty much everyone who tries it on ends up going home with it. Trust me on this one, it’s a great choice. What to wear under? The Red Carpet Strapless Bra, or this new one if you need less coverage, and these Spanx lace panties. Veronica Beard Knit dress: Here’s another staple dress to have in your closet. Veronica Beard says that it’s the “ultimate 9-to-9 dress that balances office-ready polish with cocktail-hour cool.” It’s a knit dress with a subtle stretch, and it’s also available in navy here.

Love this brand so much! Just the other day, I noticed a Staud dress shop at Nordstrom. If you like longer midi style dresses, there are many options, like this best-selling one and this one too. If you’re good with shorter dresses, this striped one just arrived (same fit as the pink one above) and it’s super cute. So many to choose from!

Daytime Dresses: Perfect for Lunches or Graduations

Having a daytime dress on hand will make it easy to get ready for any upcoming events you might have. You’ll feel dressed up but not too dressed up, and they work with lower heeled sandals or taller ones. Switch up your accessories depending on where you’re going!

This Anthropologie dress is one that I’ve worn over and over again. It’s easy to wear, flattering, and you can pair it casually with flat sandals or dress it up with heels.
