Happy Saturday! It’s a beautiful weekend here with temperatures expected in the 90’s — and while a touch too hot, those of us living in the PNW try really hard not to complain! This weekend, I’m spending time working on making the back patio look pretty, and setting the table with this linen tablecloth I purchased from Amazon (run and get one, it’s that good). I have a couple of trips coming up, starting with a short trip to NYC for a little “blog research.” This time I’m going solo, and since I’m an only child, I always savor a little quiet time 😌 The plan is to have a couple of business meetings, and shop all our favorite stores to see what’s new and what’s trending. Then, it’s off to San Diego with my Nordstrom stylist friends to preview the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, which is right around the corner. We’re having a pop-up in the Fashion Valley San Diego store on June 28 from 12-3! I’d absolutely love to meet you. If you want to RSVP, simply reply to this email and I’ll add you to the list. I’ve been dreaming of a sunny European vacay, and this week’s roundup is inspired by what I might pack. Veronica Beard has some amazing new pieces, like this printed midi dress and this striped cardigan. I’m on the hunt for the perfect wide-brim hat, and Lack of Colors has many great options! Top 10 Best Sellers: There’s no shortage of new arrivals for summer! I love this cool graphic tee and this pretty in pink polo dress that screams “effortlessly chic.” If you haven’t heard already, one of my favorite pairs of travel denim is going viral on social media: the Rag & Bone Miramar jeans. They feel like sweatpants, but are made of a lightweight and breathable material. Trust me, they’re really good. And take a look at Frank & Eileen’s new arrivals — this Mary dress with a new ruffle collar is super stylish!
If you could only wear one pair of heels and one pair of flats for summer, what would they be? Believe it or not, the Schutz Victorie sandals are still my favorite pair of heels. But, I just discovered these Dolce Vita sandals which have been a top contender! For flats, I wear the Hermes Oran sandals almost every day of the summer. Also love these affordable Amazon flats that look very similar to this well-known pair from Steve Madden
New beauty products you’re loving? I recently discovered this RoC eye balm from Target that, to my surprise, has made it into my everyday routine! My daughter Em has been telling me about RoC products for years, and now I’m hooked! I also want to try this Sisley highlighter blush — so pretty 🤍
One summer trend you’re loving? The seashell jewelry trend! I have so many fun pieces in my cart, like these earrings and this necklace. Also like this Valentino pattern tote, but I just ordered this handbag from Zara instead
When is your next IG Live? Funny you should ask. My So Susie team persuaded me to do an IG Live yesterday because they love to set them up. You can watch the entire video here and read the post here 😊
Favorite summer perfume? Either Rose Prick or Soleil Blanc, both by Tom Ford. They also have a shimmer oil that is great for summer. And, I want to try this Portofino shimmer oil to compare it to the one I just mentioned
Fave of the week? I’m on a shoe kick right now! I really like these Dolce Vita sandals, which go with everything, and I just got these Rag & Bone kitten heels and I can’t wait to wear them!
