5 Vacation Outfits Everyone Will Be Wearing This Spring
In a few weeks, I’m headed to Palm Springs with just my youngest, Jake, and I’m really looking forward to having some one on one time with him. We’ll be staying at the Holiday House, which is one of my favorite boutique hotels in downtown Palm Springs. It’s casual and comfortable, beautifully decorated thanks to Mark Sikes, and the location is perfect. The plan is to hang out in the sun, eat yummy food, maybe hike 😉, and of course, squeeze in a little shopping.
Today’s post is about 5 vacation outfit ideas that everyone will be wearing this spring. Lately I’ve been getting lots of lovely messages, and by the sound of it, many of you also have some fun travel plans coming up! This is one of my favorite style boards, and it shows some of the things I bring on every single trip

Comfortable dresses are worth every penny in my book! They look great with denim jackets, cardigans over your shoulders, flat sandals or heeled sandals … the list goes on. It’s always a good idea to pack one black dress, just in case. It hardly takes up any space and is an easy go-to piece for dinner. I can never decide which one though, so I usually bring this Norma Kamali one and this one by Anthropologie. Dress them up or down depending on the event using the accessories you brought along. It’s that time of year to get out your white denim. Talk about versatile, and they look stylish when the weather isn’t crazy hot. A favorite outfit I spotted in Palm Beach was a great navy blouse with white denim and caramel sandals — so chic. If you’re going somewhere warm, a stylish coverup is one of the most important pieces — since most of us don’t go wandering around in a swimsuit! We stayed at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach and at the Four Seasons Surfside in Miami Beach, and I saw dozens of chic swim/coverup combos.
