These Are The 7 Trends I’ll Be Wearing In 2025

For years, my morning ritual has been sipping coffee while perusing Who What Wear and other favorite websites to see what’s new in the world of fashion. You can imagine how much I love working on articles for WWW, and am honored when asked for my “advice” on fashion and styles. My partnership with WWW is coming up on five years, and I continue to be extremely proud to be affiliated with them. Recently, my friend and Senior Editor Bobby Schuessler asked me to weigh in on the trends I’ll be wearing in 2025. You can read the article “I’m A former Nordstrom Buyer – These Are The 7 Trends I’ll Wear More In 2025” here.

These are trends you’re likely to be considering, and I take seriously any I recommend to you all. Like many of you, I’m in the process of building out my 2025 wardrobe, and there are some specific trends and items I’ll be wearing into the new year and beyond. These pieces are on-trend and stylish, and will keep your wardrobe looking fresh and updated. Keep reading to see everything I found. Hope you get a little inspo for your own “wardrobe journey!”

P.S. Today’s post is a recap from my latest WWW article. Remember, when the article first appears in WWW, the clothing selections are made by Bobby and his team (he also chooses the title). But, when I recap the article, the items shared are MY picks. I hope you like them!

#1 Navy Blue

TWP blazer | Frame jeans | Lady Dior bag | Slingbacks | Zoe Chicco necklace | ATM tee

Right about now, I start thinking about wearing less black and more navy blue. You can’t ever go wrong with a navy blazer and a darker jean. These are sophisticated classics you’ll always feel (and look) good in. Plus, navy is a universal color that looks great on everyone and works any time of year. See below for some of my favorites.

#2 Leopard anything

Mavi denim jacket | Mother wide-leg jeans | SW boots | Bottega bag | Phone case

Leopard is having a moment (it never really went away), but now, it’s showing up in many of the latest designer collections. Recently, I spotted a beautiful Valentino coat with bow details, and now, I’m on the lookout for something similar but more affordable. Whether you go for a shoe or an accessory or add a piece of clothing like a jacket or dress, leopard always adds a little interest to the outfit.

#3 Denim Separates

Everyone loves denim, and it doesn’t only have to be jeans! This year, I’ll be adding new pieces, like dresses, skirts, and shirts. Lately, I’ve been seeing sparkly embellishments on jeans and accessories similar to what I’m wearing above. Love this trend!”

#4 White Shoes

Trench coat | Stripe top | Mother Hustler jeans | Gucci loafers, similar | Goyard

Lately, every stylish outfit that’s catching my eye involves a white shoe! I was just shopping in New York, and I saw the Prada slingback that was featured on the runways. Now, I’m looking to add something similar. White shoes work with every outfit, and feel fresh as we head into the new year.

#5 Of-the-moment Accessories

Kinross wool/cashmere jacket | Mother faded jeans | Slingbacks | Dior scarf | Lady Dior bag

This year, I’ll be focusing on my accessory game. There’s nothing more important than great accessories when it comes to completing your outfits! Look for cool belts with gold or silver hardware, beautiful scarves (any style), and accessories for your hair.

#6 The Color Brown

Ba&sh Leather jacket | Quince sweater | Mother wide leg jeans | SW boots | Bottega bag

Brown is a trending color that will move into early spring, and it looks really good with faded denim. It also looks great with black or other neutrals. Of course, a great brown leather jacket always gives your outfit a little edge.

#7 Elevated Casual Pieces

lululemon Softstreme half zip and matching pant | P448 sneakers | Weekender mini bag | Luggage

A matching set always looks polished, giving you an elegant monochromatic look. It’s also really versatile, and pretty much any style of jacket works over the set. If you’re traveling or running errands, you’ll feel a little more put-together in a matching set. Plus, you can wear the pieces separately so easily!
