Here Are The 5 Best Sweaters To Wear This Fall!

Plus a really cool style tip

Don’t you just love this time of year? New York Fashion Week has just wrapped up and the stores are packed with brand new fall merchandise. All the fall trends are starting to emerge, and many of us are in new-season outfit planning mode! Right now is the perfect time to start adding the pieces that make a difference in our wardrobes. Just yesterday, I wrote about 15 forever pieces worth the investment, and elevated knits is one of those categories that are the foundation of our closets.

Stylist tip: Layer a classic crew tee like this favorite under all your crew sweaters to add a little pop of color. Yes, many of us already know this tip, but right now it’s all over Tik Tok, so I thought it was worth sharing with all of you!

Today’s post is about 5 fall sweaters you’ll absolutely love.  I recently popped into our local Nordstrom store, and walked out with 3 brand new sweaters. That never happens 😉 I’m sharing lightweight, “wear now” sweaters that not only look great on, but also look good when casually draped over your shoulders. Keep reading to see my new picks, all available at Nordstrom: from a hoodie to sweaters under $100 to my favorite brand that everyone loves. Happy sweater weather!

#1 French-inspired classic striped sweaters

Rag & Bone cardigan | White turtleneck knit | Frame jeans | Slingbacks | Gold earrings | Mulberry bag

Striped sweaters aren’t going anywhere, they’re total classics. And, thanks to the cool brand Toteme, they’re super stylish at the moment! The great thing about striped sweaters is that they add a little interest to every single outfit. This new one above by Rag & Bone is amazing, and so is this classic polo by Marine layer, another favorite brand carried at Nordstrom.

#2 The sweater hoodie that sells out every single time — don’t wait

Rag & Bone Slade blazer | Hoodie | Mother denim | Veja sneakers | Sunglasses | Beis luggage | Handbag

A cozy sweater hoodie is hands down the piece that I recommend to everyone! For some reason, they never seem to stay in stock, which is why this new one is worth grabbing now. The soft gray color is really versatile, and you’ll layer it under every cool jacket you own, from a wrap style to a puffer and even a blazer. I also spotted this new Vince one which is equally as versatile.

#3 Sweaters under $100

Open Edit sweater | Moncler puffer | Mother denim | Sneakers | Scarf | Tote | Earrings

Treasure & Bond, another Nordstrom brand that’s a favorite, makes the best high quality, affordable styles. I had this off the shoulder sweater from several years ago, and it kept selling out. Now it’s back — so don’t wait! Another best-selling sweater is this classic crew that’s perfect with denim. And, I know this isn’t a sweater, but this Treasure & Bond slip skirt is perfect for all these amazing sweaters. While I was looking for sweaters, I spotted this dress, which are so good that I decided to include it too!

#4 Vince sweaters are wardrobe classics

Vince sweater | Mango trench | Paige jeans | White boots | Handbag | Watch

Vince sweaters are always a favorite, and they are pieces you’ll have for years to come. They’re high quality, and the styles are classic … but with a little extra! I absolutely love this longer cardigan — it’s stylish and classy. You can wear it with trousers, over dresses, and of course, with your best denim. I just picked up this v-neck one that for now I’ll wear with black and grey jeans.

#5 Special sweaters worth the splurge

Every now and then, you fall in love with a special sweater, and having one (or two) you absolutely love takes your wardrobe to the next level. They make a statement, but they’re also very wearable.

Fairisle sweater | Paige denim | Rag & Bone coat | SW boots | Alaia bag | Yurman earrings
