Who else is excited that summer is almost officially here? Days are getting longer, warm weather is upon us, and many of us are going on vacation. This is a fun season for getting dressed … and outfit making is so easy during the summer! The season is short, and it’s a time to be thoughtful with your summer purchases. So, here is an industry secret no one tells you: the wearing time is actually quite short (maybe ten weeks — ish?), so it makes good fashion sense to be mindful when stocking up on summer clothes.
I’m not talking about boring basics! Instead I’m suggesting that you mix in a few foundation pieces with the season’s hottest trends.
Today’s post is about being thoughtful with your purchases. I’ll show you the most important pieces that make great summer outfits, and if you own most or all of them, it’ll be much easier to put outfits together.
