The hottest jeans this season … and how to wear them
On a regular basis, I make the “rounds” and check out what’s new on all my favorite websites. And, since we’re at the height of the fall season, there are great pieces arriving daily — which is so exciting! Denim is the number one place to start. Since the correct bottom piece is the starting point of every outfit, it’s important to stay up date on current trends. Coated denim and faux leather are everywhere right now. But, in addition to black, the newest trends include dark brown and different shades of caramel. Every top brand has some cool version of coated denim in their line up. So, adding a pair or two is an easy way to update all your fall outfits!
I’ve been very excited to write this post after spotting a new style this season: the long length flare jean! It’s trending, and now it’s available in coated denim. So, today’s post has everything you need to know about the hottest jeans this season … and how to wear them. Also, coated denim and faux leather are really easy to style: think cozy sweaters, blazers, feminine blouses or a favorite sweater. Super simple formula, and you’ll look and feel great … no matter where you’re going!

This is a tough question because I like both, but if you’re only choosing one, I would go with coated denim. Why? Because it’s a little more comfortable, and basically feels like regular denim. Faux leather can get a little hot, and while it’s also soft, it isn’t quite as comfortable as denim. But, the nice thing about faux leather is that it can easily pass for the real thing. And, there are many styles from which to choose!
