I’ve been a retail girl since high school, and have always had a passion for all aspects of the fashion industry. When I was in college studying business, I was fascinated by Neiman Marcus and wrote many case studies about their business model and sales strategies. For example, every fall they would completely (and famously) transform their flagship Dallas store during “Fortnight,” a grand celebration of international fashion and culture, with one country as a theme … and it was magical! I also waited eagerly for their iconic Christmas Book, featuring 200 pages of holiday gifts and unique, one-of-a kind experiences. At one point, I even considered moving to Dallas to work for NM — what a great experience that would have been!
All these years later, I still LOVE Neiman Marcus, and their easy-to-shop website is full of incredible inspo.
