I don’t remember a time when I’ve been this excited for the coming months of warmer weather and sunny days. Everyone I know is planning some kind of vacation, and the thought of possibly going to a beach makes me giddy!! So … we need to get summer-ready 🙂 Since I didn’t wear a swimsuit at all last year, when I moved back into my newly remodeled closet — well, let’s just say the stretched out, show-too-much- cleavage swimsuits didn’t make the cut!
Today’s post is about 5 easy pieces that will get us all summer-ready in no time. I’m talking about breezy dresses, swim attire, stylish sandals and cool accessories that make every outfit even better. I’ve found the cutest swimwear lately, and it’s all from J.Crew! On my Palm Springs trip, I packed this one-shoulder — in two colors (!) as well as this leopard one. I also love the dress above, and it has a coordinating bikini which is so cute. Or, go with a solid navy, like this one. Check the selection out here — I’m sure you’ll find one or two you love!

#3 Summer dresses

Dresses are a super easy go-to summer item. On hot days, I always wear dresses — they’re comfy and so so easy. I love this shirt style linen one above, which can also be worn as a cover up. And I love all the shirt dresses I’m wearing in this post, and this striped knit one is another favorite!
#4 tees and tanks
Nothing says summer-ready like tees and tanks! J.Crew’s prices are reasonable and the quality is very good. Look at this new striped tank, and this one too. I also love these basic tees. Lots of love for J.Crew!
#5 Sandals
How cute are the gold sandals below? They come in a couple of colors — I couldn’t decide! The heel height is perfect and they work with everything. Also check these out, you might like them 🙂
