If I told you I started working at Nordstrom in 1982, you might wonder how old I really am 😂 But believe it or not, it’s true! And after many years as a buyer, and many more as a stylist, I feel like I kinda know what I’m talking about when it comes to Nordstrom (wink). So, consider me your trusted source for how to navigate Nordstrom.com to get the best of the fall and holiday season — highly edited, on trend, and super stylish — before it’s all gone!
Today’s post is about how to shop your favorite store: an insider’s guide. I’ll tell you some of the best things you’ll find at Nordstrom, including well-priced fashion brands like Treasure & Bond, Zella and Halogen. Not only is the quality amazing, but the prices are too. If you love the beauty department, check out all the beautiful boxed gift sets — they’re a great value, and perfect for gift-giving. The Nordstrom-Made brands are worth checking out, and ones I always look to include Treasure & Bond, Nordstrom Signature, Zella, Open Edit, and anything cashmere under the Nordstrom label. This week, I picked up the blouse I’m wearing above in a pretty green color. And, you’ll love this 3-piece cozy knit set in pink. Every year, these holiday pieces sell out — so don’t wait! The entire Vuori collection is designed for both gals and guys. Right now, Nordstrom has a great selection of joggers in several colors, as well as best-selling hoodies and tees. These make the BEST gifts for everyone in your family. Last year, while traveling to England, we had a good laugh once we noticed that me, my son and husband were all wearing our Vuori joggers! Don’t wait on these, because they will sell out — they’re very, very popular.

#4 It’s sweater weather … need some cashmere for the fam?

A top item in this guide is Nordstrom’s high quality cashmere. And, it’s incredibly affordable — bonus! For example, look at the crew sweater I’m wearing above, and the v-neck (also a great option) — both are on sale for $109.90. Consider cashmere accessories too, like a Pom Pom hat, these scarves, and this oversized cotton/cashmere wrap (sooo cozy). Not only are these perfect staples for fall, but they also make wonderful gifts. And, don’t leave out your guys — shop cashmere for men here.
#5 Cozy pj’s and slippers: a loungewear guide
With cooler months ahead, curling up in cozy loungewear by the fire sounds so enticing 🙂 Nordstrom Lingerie has some of my favorite items, including these butter socks … you’ll say out loud “they actually feel like butter” when you put them on! I have this washable silk PJ set in my own bag, and BP separates are super comfy too. So, pick up something for yourself and grab a gift for a special someone — while it’s all still in stock!

#6 Workout gear/post-workout gear

The Live-In High Waisted Leggings are a top seller, with over 7,000 almost five-star reviews. This jogger is super comfy, and so is this new fleece jacket that’s perfect for your winter workouts. Once a year, I stock up on these socks since they always go missing “for some unknown reason” 😉 Athletic wear is also great for workouts and for post-workout activities. Just add a cute jacket and you’re good to go!
